I actually started in business in 1997 AFTER we invested in your practically brand new program. I do know now that if it weren't for you we would have never made it. Although we started out meek and small, it didn't take long before we started kickin" butt! I started going to all of your Boot Camps and ordering your tapes, etc. I learned a lot! Especially two things: 1) I have to believe in order to achieve and 2) Never, ever give up! I actually live in a small rural town of approximately 25,000 residents (40,000 if you count students). We went from $24,000 our first year to $193,000 our eighth year in business (1 & 1/2 trucks). This is not setting any records I know, but, I definitely beat out all of my competitors who are all franchises! Well, any way, I actually used all your principals to start my second business: Tents and Party Rentals! I started in January of 2006. I have used many of your principals of business and marketing ideas to escalate our name and service and so far to date I have already (this year) doubled what I made last year. I am currently running both the carpet cleaning business and the party rental business. Sometimes I feel I don't have a spare minute, but, we were just voted "best in the county for carpet cleaning" and this really puts a big notch in my belt of accomplishments. I sometimes sigh at the fact that I no longer get to get out and enjoy "some type of life," but I do know that within the next 1-2 years, I won't even have to be "on the job." Joe, I owe so much to you! I really don't think I would have had the knowledge much less the courage to operate 2 totally different businesses without your help! Love ya!

My story is a little different from most, I heard about you because my flatmate is a Carpet Cleaner and he gave me your Boot Camp DVD's to watch. I started my own company in September 2005 and I had been studying all your materials and other people's too before I started so I had a running start at it.
